気付けば財布が軽い…「つい無駄遣いしてしまう人」に共通する落とし穴とは?FPが伝授する簡単な見直し術ン

何気なく立ち寄ったコンビニやカフェで、予定になかった商品をつい手に取り、後悔した経験はありませんか?「ほんの少しの出費だから大丈夫」と思っていたはずが、気付けば月末にはお金が足りない…。そんな無駄遣いの習慣に悩んでいる人は少なくありません。

では、なぜ私たちは繰り返し無駄遣いをしてしまうのでしょうか?その原因と対策について、ファイナンシャルプランナーの水野崇さんに話を伺いました。

水野さんによると、無駄遣いの背景には大きく二つの要因があります。一つは「収支の管理ができていないこと」、もう一つは「心理的な習慣」です。

例えば、毎月の収入と支出をしっかり把握していないと、自分がいくら使っているか分からず、「気付いたらお金が減っていた」という状況に陥りがちです。特に注意すべきは、少額ながら頻度の高い支出。コンビニやカフェでの買い物など、1回1回の金額は小さくても、積み重なると大きな負担になります。

さらに、水野さんは「ストレスや自分へのご褒美として、ついお金を使ってしまう人も多い」と指摘します。無意識のうちに出費が癖になってしまっている場合もあるのです。

では、無駄遣いを減らすにはどうすれば良いのでしょうか?水野さんは「お金の流れを“見える化”すること」が大切だと語ります。たとえば、支払いをクレジットカードにまとめれば、利用明細を見るだけで1カ月の支出を把握できます。ただし、カードは後払いのため、お金を使っているという実感が薄くなる点には注意が必要です。

現金で管理する人には、家計簿の利用がおすすめです。最近はスマートフォンで簡単に家計簿をつけられるアプリも増えており、レシートを撮影するだけで自動的に記録してくれる便利なものもあります。記入の手間が面倒に感じる人でも、こうしたアプリなら手軽に始められるでしょう。

また、もう一つ見直しておきたいのが「固定費」です。加入したまま利用していないサブスクリプションサービスなど、定期的に引き落とされている費用に無駄が潜んでいる可能性があります。さらに、交際費や娯楽費に紛れている日常的な小さな出費にも目を向けることが大切です。

自分一人で見直すのが難しいと感じた場合は、家族や信頼できる人に協力をお願いするのも一つの方法です。第三者の視点を取り入れることで、客観的に支出を見直しやすくなります。

無駄遣いを減らすために重要なのは、「お金を使っていることを自覚すること」です。いきなり大きな節約をしなくても、まずは自分のお金の流れを把握するだけで、無駄な出費に気付き、少しずつ習慣を変えていくことができます。

「なぜかお金が残らない」と感じている方は、まずは一度、自分のお金の使い方を見つめ直してみてはいかがでしょうか。小さな変化が、将来の大きな安心につながるかもしれません。
